Established in 1984, Dickens has grown to become a highly reputable maintenance and construction company, delivering focused, professional yet approachable services to clients across London and the South East.

Our organic growth has enabled us to retain our core values of quality, responsiveness, value for money and approachability at the same time as expanding our business. We believe this to be our greatest asset often allowing us to ‘punch above our weight’ in this ever growing competitive market.

Since 1999 Dickens has been working in partnership with the London & Quadrant Housing Trust – South Thames Region to refurbish well over 1000 homes. Projects to date include renewing roofs, hardscapes, fencing, installing new timber & PVCU windows, designing and fitting new kitchens & bathrooms, electrical re wires, full heating installations, estate grounds maintenance, conversions, de-conversions, major and minor void works, and cyclical decorations both external and internal.

The experienced gained working so closely with the Trust has forged Dickens into a one stop shop for the Social Landlord, able, capable and willing to take on any aspect of RSL work including Contract Administration.

In addition to our maintenance services, Dickens is also a registered NHBC house builder, with a portfolio of projects from Hampstead, North London to Chislehurst, Kent.
